Pulse Scanner: Detect in 60 Seconds
Free infrastructure anomaly detection that generates a cryptographic ProofLink receipt — and triggers the full UAIO autonomous remediation loop when issues are found.
What is Pulse Scanner?
Pulse is iTechSmart's infrastructure detection layer — and the entry point to the full UAIO loop. Pulse Scanner performs a 60-second autonomous scan of your infrastructure, identifies anomalies, scores findings by severity (Critical, High, Medium, Low), and generates a ProofLink cryptographic receipt documenting the scan results. It is free, requires no installation for basic scanning, and produces proof of findings regardless of whether remediation is invoked. Every scan result is permanently recorded and verifiable.
Why does it exist?
Most organizations don't know where their infrastructure vulnerabilities are until an incident occurs. Point-in-time vulnerability scans are expensive, slow, and produce reports that are stale by the time they are reviewed. Pulse makes the unknown visible in 60 seconds — continuously, not quarterly. It is also the trigger layer for UAIO: when Pulse detects an anomaly, OctoAI picks up the signal and initiates the Simulate → Decide → Fix → Prove loop. Pulse is free because iTechSmart believes every organization deserves a baseline view of its infrastructure health, regardless of whether they are ready to deploy full autonomous remediation.
How does it work?
Pulse connects to your infrastructure via read-only API credentials or lightweight agent deployment. It runs passive checks against known vulnerability signatures, configuration drift patterns, performance baselines, and security posture indicators. Findings are scored by severity. A ProofLink receipt is generated documenting the scan parameters, findings, and timestamp — creating an immutable record of your infrastructure health at that point in time. If remediation is authorized, Pulse hands the anomaly signal to OctoAI to begin autonomous response through the digital twin simulation and Arbiter governance layers.
What problem does it solve?
The average time between vulnerability introduction and detection is 197 days. Pulse reduces detection to 60 seconds. For organizations running UAIO, the Pulse-to-remediation loop can resolve known incident patterns in under 60 seconds total — from detection to verified fix. For organizations not yet running full UAIO, Pulse provides immediate visibility and a compliance-grade record of infrastructure health that satisfies audit requirements for continuous monitoring. Every Pulse scan receipt is independently verifiable, providing proof of your security posture at any point in time.
